By the grace of Almighty Allah. this physics course has been written in accordance with the new syllabus prescribed for ADP/BS examinations of University of Punjab. The purpose of this book is:

1. To facilitate students who do not often understand the tough foreign language.
2. To avoid the presentation of unnecessary material that looses the interest of students. 
3. To acquaint the student with new mathematical techniques and to give him sufficient practice in problems solving.
4. Some effort has been devoted to make the book as self-contained as possible.

In accordance with modern model of question papers, short answer type have been included to cover entire syllabus. In physics, problems form a very important part of question paper.
